Angelo's Story
I started doing pond cleanings at 32 years old — just on weekends, just for extra income. I had no idea it would change my life.
There was something about working with water, with natural stone, with living ecosystems, that I had never experienced in any other kind of work. Every pond was different. Every customer had a different vision. Every yard presented a different set of challenges. I was hooked from the very beginning.
Within a few years, cleaning ponds wasn't enough. I wanted to build them. I wanted to design them from scratch, place every rock, engineer every waterfall, and hand the finished product over to a homeowner who couldn't believe what their backyard had become. So I went all in — full time, full service.
That was 18 years ago. Today, Long Island Waterscapes handles everything related to water features: design, installation, cleaning, maintenance, and repair. Ponds, waterfalls, fountains, pool waterfalls, pondless systems, koi ponds — if it involves water in your backyard, we do it. And I'm on every single job. Not managing from an office — actually there, with my hands in the work, making sure every rock and every flow is exactly right.
What Makes Us Different
Angelo Is on Every Job
You're not hiring a company that sends a rotating crew. You're hiring Angelo. He personally manages every project from the first consultation through the final walkthrough. That's not a marketing line — it's just how we operate.
We Started With Cleaning — And Still Do It
Most builders only build. Angelo started his career maintaining and cleaning ponds before he ever installed one. That foundation means we understand water features at a deeper level than companies that only focus on installs.
Long Island Is All We Do
We know the soil, the climate, the communities, and the properties across Long Island — from modest suburban backyards in Smithtown and Huntington to waterfront estates in Southampton and East Hampton.
One Company for Everything
Build, clean, maintain, repair — we do all of it. One number to call, one person who knows your pond, one company accountable for the whole thing, start to finish.
Our Team
Long Island Waterscapes is a small, tight operation by design. Angelo leads every project, supported by one full-time crew member. On larger estate jobs, we bring in one or two additional trusted hands that Angelo knows personally and has worked with for years. This structure means every project gets the same level of attention regardless of size — there are no junior crews sent out unsupervised.
Where We Work
We serve all of Long Island — Suffolk County, Nassau County, and the Hamptons. Our most active areas include:
